On Wednesday 23 October, sixteen people travelled out to Sanday for our Annual Conference Event focusing on Heritage Centres. There was representation from North Ronaldsay, Papa Westray, Rousay, Egilsay & Wyre, Shapinsay and Stronsay.
The day involved a visit to the Sanday Heritage Centre, two workshops facilitated by Mark Jenkins and Rebecca Marr, plus talks from Tom Rendall (NILPS oral history project lead), Anne-Marie Reid (Highlands and Islands Enterprise) and Alan Miller (St Andrews University).
